The challenge
BBVA customers manage financing on both debit and credit cards, but there wasn’t a centralized place to view everything together.
How could we create a clear, scalable experience that allows users to check, operate, and plan their financing across multiple countries?
Each country has its own particularities (language, regulations, available products), so the solution needed to be adaptable without losing global consistency.

The solution
I designed a modular Financing Dashboard inside the BBVA app, structured around these key pillars:
Three views: “All”, “Debit”, and “Credit” — to segment or see everything at once.
Functional modules: global balances, operational actions, transaction list, purchase planner, transaction details, monthly financed expenses chart, and a “Need help?” section with financial tips.
Country scalability: switchable modules (ON/OFF) and local adaptations (e.g., “Committed debits” in Spain)
Technical integration: connected through BBVA’s API ecosystem (customer, finance, configuration endpoints)
